Aircraft Maintenance Base Domodedodovo (AMB), a member of the EAST LINE Group, provides technical support for practically all types of aircraft produced in CIS.

History

Founded in 1963 AMB Domodedovo has been the most advanced enterprise in the industry since its foundation. Suffice it to say that the personnel of AMB Domodedovo was the first to carry out technical maintenance of the famous supersonic Tu-144 and the newest in its class Il-62M. Today the service pins its hopes to new brands aircraft - Il-96 and Tu-334, however attaching no less attention to long haul Boeings and Airbuses.

Production facilities

Production facilities of AMB include а unique Hangar capable to accommodate four wide-body aircraft like Il-96 or A-310. It is the largest Hangar of the kind in CIS. Sophisticated labware engaged in technical maintenance of electric, radio, electronic, navigational equipment, and other device, enables AMB to provide a full range of services related to avionics.

About 1000 highly skilled engineers and technicians are working at the enterprise.

  • Providing services unrelated to aviation for outside customers - recharging carbonic acid fire extinguishers, compressed air cylinders, etc

    As it is AMB Domodedovo already provides regular technical support for the aircraft of more than 180 CIS Airlines. Besides, it has long-term Agreements on recurrant maintenance services with 40 Airlines. Among them are Domodedovo Airlines, Atran, East Line, Dobrolet, Gazprom and others.

    Future Development

    Unlike most similar services engaged in technical support and maintenance of avia-engineering in Russia and CIS, AMB Domodedovo is enhancing its production capacities alongside with its day-to-day successful operation. In the nearest future AMB is to be developed into a major Base of maintenance and overhaul of "Ilushin" aircraft family. Alongside with the project on a Complete Makeover of Domodedovo Airport, a 16 million dollars Modernization Master Plan of AMB Domodedovo has been elaborated. The Programme invisages a major renovation of the existing Hangar and acquisition of new high tech operational equipment

    After remodeling is over, AMB Domodedovo is to be turned into a state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance base capable to provide technical support to all major types of the aircraft.
