Domodedovo IT Services was created by the consolidation of isolated IT divisions of the Domodedovo enterprises into a separate business unit and is the uniform provider of all main IT services of the airport.
The enterprise carries out the following activities:
Provision and maintenance of the IT infrastructure: Data Processing Centre (DPC), servers, disk space, data transmission network;
Maintenance of various information systems;
Maintenance of the airport's digital video monitoring system;
Maintenance and provision of various link services;
Management of the projects on the development of the airport's IT infrastructure.
The primary purpose of the enterprise is to provide users with the high level IT services.
In its activities, Domodedovo IT Services successfully applies modern technologies. The DPC of international standard TIA-942 is put in operation, the data transmission network with high transmission capacity is used, wireless network Wi-Fi is widely used for technological needs.
In order to improve the fault and disaster tolerance of information systems and infrastructural IT services, virtualisation technologies and RAIDs of hi-end class are applied. To provide high efficiency of interactions between industrial divisions of the airport, digital real-time control communication and digital trunked radio communication of the TETRA standard are used.
The enterprise's staff consists of the highly skilled IT technicians providing continuous maintenance of the airport's IT services.
Perspective projects:
Completion of the project on the consolidation of all information systems into DPC;
Construction of the second DPC;
Expansion of the wireless data transmission network Wi-Fi throughout the airport;
Introduction of authorisation technology (802.1) at ports of the structured cable system of the airport;
Creation of the private cloud for the airport business divisions;
Introduction of "thin" client technology instead of the standard PC for the airport's users;
Introduction of a new digital video monitoring system at the airport.
