Moscow Air Travel Agency is one of the Russian largest networks that books and sells air and train tickets and offers travel services. The structure of the agency includes five sales offices and more than 60 booking offices in Moscow, as well as six subsidiaries and five booking offices in St. Petersburg, Orel, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Voronezh, and Khabarovsk. It is expected that a subsidiary in Lipetsk and booking offices in Omsk will be opened shortly.
Moscow Air Travel Agency is a member of the Russian Travel Industry Union, Moscow Association of Travel Agencies (MATA), and the Noncommercial partnership “International integration association in tourism “World without Borders”.
Moscow Air Travel Agency offers a broad spectrum of leisure and business travel services:
- booking and selling of air and train tickets;
- booking of hotel rooms;
- booking of car rentals in any country of the world;
- passenger and luggage insurance;
- assistance in acquisition of travel passports and foreign entry visas;
- provision of VIP-services at airports;
- logistical assistance in organization of conferences and professional exhibits;
- individual leisure travel consulting.
Accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Russian Transport clearing chamber, in compliance with direct agreements, Moscow Air Travel Agency sells tickets for flights operated by 70 Russian and foreign airlines.
Offering a broad spectrum of leisure travel to various countries, Moscow Air Travel Agency focuses on a number of particular destinations: Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy, France, and others. Moscow Air Travel Agency also offers vacations in the United Arab Emirates and in Indian sea-bordering states of Goa and Kerala.
Today, more than 500 state and commercial organizations are permanent customers of the Agency.
The Agency was one of the first in Russia to start selling tickets on the Internet. To that end, a fundamentally new Internet sales system was developed. Now, the flight timetable and airfare information is generated by pulling data from the three leading online booking systems operating on the Russian market: “Gabriel”, “Sirena”, and “Galileo”, which makes it possible to offer the largest possible number of flight options at lowest fares. Visitors of the website can obtain information about timetables and airfares, buy a ticket and pay with a credit card, as well as choose a vacation tour and send an online request to the travel department.
At the moment, Moscow Air Travel Agency is implementing a project in partnership with the federal state unitary enterprise “Post of Russia” that will enable visitors of a number of Moscow post offices to buy air tickets to any country of the world. |
