Exhibition of Front Covers of Flight International at Domodedovo International Airport28.03.2006
Domodedovo International Airport hosted an official ceremony of opening of a unique exhibition “Flight International: History of the World Aerospace Industry” that presents the most colorful front covers of the most popular aerospace edition in the world. The exhibits reflect milestones in scientific and technical progress of the mankind.
The executives of EAST LINE Group, the operator of Domodedovo International Airport, as well as Reed Elsevier, the company that publishes Flight International along with other products, took part in the ceremony.
“We decided to set up the exhibition of the covers of this extraordinary magazine in Domodedovo airport with a view to provide any person interested in the aviation world with a chance to get acquitted with the past, present and imagine the future that is forecasted by Flight International. We would like to express our gratitude to the editors of Flight Group and to Mr. Kieran Daly personally for this opportunity to let our passengers learn about the most important events in the history of the aerospace industry”, - said Anna Krasnova, PR Director, EAST LINE Group.
The expo features, inter alia, the covers depicting the legendary defense aircraft, heroic pilots, captivating silhouettes of space ships and the latest achievements in the area of unmanned aviation.

Flight International magazine was founded in England in 1909, making it the oldest aviation magazine in the world. From the beginning it was published as a weekly title and today it is one of only two English language weekly aviation magazines in existence.
Domodedovo International Airport is the largest hub in Russia. According to ACI Europe (Airports Council International – European division), in 2005 Domodedovo was named the leader in terms of growth rate among the European airports of Group II, which annual passenger traffic varies between 10 and 25 million passengers. Statistic results of the first two months of 2006 demonstrate that Domodedovo airport maintains the leading position in the Moscow aviation hub in terms of passenger throughput.
