Moscow Domodedovo International airport maintains its leading position among Moscow airports

According to performance results 2007 Moscow Domodedovo International airport keeps maintaining its leading position among Moscow airport in terms of passenger traffic.

Total passenger traffic amounted to 18 755 098 passengers, a 22,0% increase over 2006.

The highest growth was recorded on such destinations as Antalya, Vienna, Hurghada, Ekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Sharm el Sheikh, Bangkok, Krasnodar, Chelyabinsk, and Mineralnye Vody. 4 814 822 passengers were serviced on these routes in DME, what is 1.4 times better than in 2006. Total passenger traffic in December amounted to 1 401 787 passengers, a 21.3% increase over the same period in 2006.

Domodedovo International airport ended 2007 with leading position in terms of take-off and landing operations intensity among Moscow airports.

The total number of take-off and landing operations amounted to 181 141 in 2007, a 20.8% increase over 2006.

In December the take-off and landing operations intensity amounted to 15 415, a 19.7% increase over the same period in 2006.
