Domodedovo International Airport is a participant of annual ratings of the aviation research company SkyTrax , ACI World (Airports Council International) and European division of ACI World.

Airports Council International, headquartered in Geneva, is a non-profit-making organization representing over 1,500 airports in 175 countries. ACI Europe member airports enplane 90% of commercial air traffic in Europe, handling over a billion passengers each year.

The Council publishes monthly rating of 100 largest airports in Europe and a world airport rating at the end of the year, based on information provided by member airports.

Skytrax is a London-based airline and airport research firm. Skytrax conducts annual passenger polls in airports, as well as phone or on-line polls analyzing customer opinions on quality of services provided in the airports in the world. The majority of air transport experts consider results of the Skytrax's polls as independent and representative.

Having summed up the results of the polls, Skytrax publishes rating of 10 best world airports as well as best regional airports in Asia, Middle East, Australia and Pacific Region, Northern America, Southern America, Europe, Eastern Europe and Southern Europe.
