Domodedovo employs special facilities to ensure that transit passengers can move swiftly and comfortably between flights.
Domestic Transfers
- Follow the TRANSFER/TRANSIT sign to the domestic transfer area for check-in.
- Any luggage checked through to the final destination at the departure airport will be processed automatically.
- Go through security control after check-in.
- Proceed to the domestic departures area. Check the boarding pass and information boards for the gate number.
ADDITIONAL SECTION FOR TRANSIT PASSENGERS IN BAGGAGE CLAIM AREA OF DOMESTIC AIRLINES
In the baggage claim area of domestic airlines an additional check-in section "Transfer/Transit" has been installed to make it possible for transit passengers, whose baggage has been checked-in to Moscow only, upon claiming their baggage, immediately check it in for the next domestic flight.
International Transfers
- Follow the TRANSFER/TRANSIT sign to the international transfer area for check-in.
- Any luggage checked through to the final destination at the departure airport will be processed automatically. If your luggage is checked to Domodedovo, please notify the transfer agent.
- Go through security control after check-in.
- Proceed to the international departures area. Check the boarding pass and information boards for the gate number.
Domestic-to-International Transfers
If your baggage has been checked in at the departure airport to Domodedovo Airport only:
- Proceed to the baggage claim area of domestic airlines and claim your baggage.
- Proceed to the landside check-in counters as shown on information boards to check in for the next flight.
- Upon receipt of your boarding pass, go to Sector A or Sector B for customs, immigration and security control.
- Proceed to the international departures area. Check the boarding pass and information boards for the gate number.
If the Domodedovo Customs allowed the air carrier to check through the transit baggage, and your baggage has been checked through at the departure airport to the final destination:
If you have a boarding pass, go to Sector A or Sector B for customs, immigration and security control. (3)
If you do not have a boarding pass, check in for the next flight at the landside check-in counters as shown on information boards (2)
Proceed to the international departures area. Check the boarding pass and information boards for the gate number. (4)
Any baggage checked through to the final destination at the departure airport will be processed automatically.
International-to-Domestic Transfers
- Follow the TRANSFER/TRANSIT sign to the international transfer area for immigration control or go through passport control in the arrivals area together with inbound passengers.
- Pick-up your luggage and go through customs control.
- Go to the landside check-in counters as shown on information boards.
- Upon receipt of your boarding pass and luggage check, go to Sector C or Sector D for security control.
- Proceed to the domestic departures area. Check the boarding pass and information boards for the gate number.
Through Check-in
Some airlines offer through check-in services for specific flights. In such case, passengers are checked in and issued two boarding passes to and from Domodedovo to the final destination. If so, check-in is not required and passengers may proceed to the international/domestic departures area and the gates designated in the boarding passes or shown on information boards. For further details regarding through check-in, please refer to check-in agents at the departure airport.
Note. Domodedovo transfer facilities are available to passengers and their luggage subject to proper check-in at the departure airport. Some airports do not offer transfer facilities. |
